A Canonet experience

I Processed another roll of SHD100 black and white film. This time using a really old CANONET QL17 rangefinder which is still due for repair. As of now, the camera works like a virtual Holga camera because of it's "fungus galaxy" inside the lens. It produced really nostalgic shots which looked like photos shot in the 60's. The camera worked like a time machine.
I think i'm gonna have fun times with this baby.

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday: Cutud, Pampanga

It was 6:30 in the morning when kuya Buck(Pago) and John(Javellana) dropped by our house so we could go to Cutud, Pampanga to cover the lenten rites. It was Thursday and we planned on sleeping in a hotel so we could shoot early the the next morning, the day the crucifixion of jesus would be reenacted.
Arriving at Sexmoan Pampanga at about 9 am, we shot some penitents who were mainly teens. We had our lunch there(overcooked chili pancit canton with monay and coke light) then we went to find a hotel to spend the night in. Most of the hotels are fully booked and we were very lucky to find the last vacant room at Gracelane Hotel. The room was great and we had a WiFi connection and a TV. I just spent the whole day surfing the net and watching MTV.
The next morning, we woke up early(we had difficulty in waking up kuya John :P) and i had a breakfast of Daing na Tilapia(ever heard of one?? it's my first time..). Then we went directly to the crucifixion rites in Cutud.
