The black and white parade

Finally, after a month's worth of waiting my dad and i finally had time to develop our newly shot Black and White films. Honestly, it's my first time to handle one. So take a look, the results were not bad..

These photos were shot in Chinatown during the chinese new year (I preffered shooting human interests than the actual celebration)

**Shot with LUCKY SHD100 black and white print film. Developed in "PaRodinal Soup", a Rodinal solution with Paracetamol as the main ingredient courtesy of Mr. Jay Javier.

Stunning! Nothing really beats black and white photographs taken with film.

I asked Mr. Ed Santiago (one of the regular speakers at my current camera workshop at FPPF)) if he knew your dad. He said yes, and claims your father was once a member of his team at some newspaper. Ed Santiago has fond memories of him; foremost, he claims your dad is the most fearless photojournalist he has ever known in his entire life. I then mentioned to him that his son (you) is also a budding photojournalist. It brought a wide smile to his face.

Keep posting!
